Cricket Programs

The Usman Khawaja Foundation’s FREE introductory cricket program is intended to reach and engage primary school aged girls and boys in particular those from non-traditional cricketing communities.

We are conducting a number of FREE programs across Australia. Please see click on the below relevant location for registration and program details (this will take you to an external registration portal):

In 2018 over 300 youngsters participated in the UKF Cricket program across 5 HUBs (4 in NSW and 1 in QLD).

  • In 2019, the ‘Chance to Shine Cricket’ saw 814 participants register as the program expanded to 14 HUBS across NSW, QLD and the ACT.

  • In 2020-21 no programs were conducted due to COVID-19.

  • In 2022 in partnership with Cricket Australia, the Usman Khawaja Foundation saw over 1200 participants register for free cricket programs across Australia.

  • In 2023 in partnership with Cricket Australia, the Usman Khawaja Foundation saw over 2600participants register for free cricket programs across Australia.

Educational Support

The Usman Khawaja Foundation’s Educational Support is focused on maximising the role of Education and Sport as catalysts for social mobility. It is for those who have a vision to be leaders in their chosen fields for the betterment of Australia and the world.

The support offered in collaboration with aligned partners includes a combination of one or more of the following items:

  • Stationary Vouchers

  • Uniform Vouchers

  • School Fees Vouchers

  • iPads/Laptops

  • Sports Apparel, Shoes and Equipment

The above assistance will help recipients realize their potential and full their dreams as future leaders of Australian Society.
